If you know that you will need more time to file your current tax return, please let me know as soon as possible. Keep in mind the following:
- You can file your federal extension for 2022 beginning January 27, 2023.
- Filing an extension only changes the deadline for filing your tax return.
- If you owe taxes, they need to be paid by April 18, 2023.
- Deadline for Extension Filers is October 16, 2023.
